SWPA MISSION

SWPA is a grass-roots effort to create river recreation opportunity; promote river awareness, safety, and natural resource education; and develop the potential for future economic stimulus in Salmon,

SWPA OBJECTIVES

Salmon’s history is intimately connected to the river.   We want to celebrate and encourage those connections and resources.  Our objective is to create a whitewater park in Salmon for community river recreation and promote economic stimulus for Salmon.

  • Build a Whitewater Park with 3 waves, located alongside the Island Park

  • Use no local tax-payer dollars for whitewater park development, construction, and long-term maintenance

  • Our goal is to build a park that all community members can use for river recreation and promotes economic stimulus for City of Salmon
